What is Real Estate
Real estate is used to denote real estate as opposed to personal property such as clothing or furniture. Real estate is defined as “a property consisting of buildings on land.” Historically, Real Estate was defined as any structure built on real land or property.
Types of Real Estate
Properties are divided into three broad categories based on their use. Buildings are classified according to their size, location, and type of use of the building.
This includes commercial real estate, which can either be owned – built-up or rented. This structure can be a commercial building, a residential building or a mixed-use building such as a hotel or office building. It may or may not be part of the same building as an apartment, hotel, office or another type of business premises.
